Scope: These Terms apply to visitors and ordinary reader accounts. Publishing access requires a separate creator agreement.

1. About Egatabi and These Terms

Egatabi is a personally operated website for discovering and reading manga and illustrated stories. These Reader Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to visitors and registered reader accounts using egatabi.com (the "Service"). By registering or using an account, you agree to these Terms and any applicable policies clearly linked to them.

These Terms govern reader access only. Egatabi may offer additional services in the future; features mentioned as planned are not guaranteed or necessarily available today.

2. Reader Accounts Only

New registrations receive reader-level access only. A reader account may provide access to browsing, reading, profile settings, and other reader features as they become available. Registration does not grant the ability to upload, manage, or publish manga, artwork, chapters, or other creator projects.

Creator, author, artist, editor, and collaborator privileges require separate approval from the operator and, where applicable, a distinct written creator or publishing agreement. A user cannot obtain creator permissions by merely accepting these reader Terms. Until expressly approved and separately authorized, a user must not attempt to publish or access creator-only tools.

3. Who May Register

You must be at least 13 years old to register. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only where you are legally permitted to do so and with a parent or guardian’s permission where required by applicable law.

Do not provide a false age or circumvent age-related restrictions. Age-restricted material, if introduced, will be limited to eligible adults aged 18 or older and subject to appropriate access controls. Egatabi does not presently grant access to mature content merely because someone has a reader account.

4. Account Information and Security

Provide accurate registration details, protect your password and other credentials, and notify Egatabi promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access. You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent permitted by law.

Do not impersonate others, create accounts to evade enforcement, share credentials for unauthorized access, or interfere with the registration and login systems. Egatabi may use reasonable security and anti-abuse measures and may limit accounts when appropriate.

5. Reading and Respecting Creative Works

Manga, artwork, stories, characters, site branding, and related materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other rights. Rights generally belong to their respective authors, artists, or other rights holders.

Reader access allows you to view content through the Service for its intended use. It does not grant ownership or a license to republish, sell, distribute, scrape, or upload someone else’s work elsewhere unless you have permission or another legal right to do so. Do not pirate or plagiarize content, strip credit, or falsely claim to be its creator.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to take away any exceptions or rights available under applicable law, including lawful fair use where applicable.

6. Reader Comments, Reviews, and Profiles

If reader features such as profiles, reviews, comments, or community discussions are enabled, you are responsible for what you submit. Do not post material you lack the right to share or make false claims of ownership or identity.

You retain any rights you hold in your reader-generated comments and profile content. By submitting this material to a public feature, you give Egatabi a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, display, technically process, and moderate it only as reasonably necessary to operate that feature. This reader-content permission is not a manga publishing agreement.

Public contributions may be visible to other users and could be copied or archived outside Egatabi. Think carefully before including personal details in public content.

7. Prohibited Behavior and Material

Do not use Egatabi to harass, threaten, stalk, dox, defraud, impersonate, spam, or unlawfully discriminate against others. Do not distribute malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, misuse reporting tools, or evade restrictions or moderation.

Content involving child sexual exploitation, sexualized depictions of minors, or depictions of nude minors is prohibited, including illustrated, fictional, manipulated, or AI-generated material. Nonconsensual intimate imagery, unlawful threats, piracy, and other illegal or exploitative content are also prohibited.

These rules apply to all submissions and communications, including any future comments, reviews, profile details, or messages. Egatabi may remove content or take protective action when violations are reported or identified.

8. Reporting Problems and Moderation

You may report suspected piracy, plagiarism, unsafe content, harassment, impersonation, or other violations to egatabi.com@gmail.com. Please include enough information to identify the page, account, or material at issue.

Egatabi may review reports, remove or restrict content, suspend features, or suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, compliance, security, or rule enforcement. Where appropriate and practical, Egatabi may explain its decision or consider a request for review. The operator cannot guarantee immediate resolution of every report.

Rights holders may also contact this address about potential infringement. Formal copyright notice procedures and any required designated-agent details will be provided separately when applicable.

9. Privacy

Egatabi’s Reader Privacy Policy describes how information associated with visiting, registering, and using reader accounts may be collected, used, shared, retained, and handled. Please review that policy before registering.

Do not share another person’s private information without permission or lawful authority.

10. Service Changes and Availability

Egatabi is under active development. Features may be added, changed, temporarily unavailable, or discontinued. Access may be restricted for security, technical maintenance, or legal reasons.

Unless applicable law provides otherwise, Egatabi provides its Service on an “as is” and “as available” basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

11. Account Closure

You may request closure of your reader account using any available account controls or by emailing egatabi.com@gmail.com. Egatabi may verify a request before taking action.

Closing an account may not immediately remove technical backups, lawful records, or public copies retained by other people. See the Reader Privacy Policy for more information about data handling and deletion requests.

12. Legal Limitations and Disputes

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Egatabi is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from access to or use of the Service. Nothing here excludes rights, protections, or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

The operator’s legal identification, any governing-law provisions, and dispute-resolution arrangements must be confirmed before these Terms become effective. These Terms do not require users to surrender non-waivable consumer rights.

13. Updates and Contact

Egatabi may update these Terms as its reader features or legal responsibilities change. Updated versions will have a new version number and effective date. Material changes will be communicated or submitted for renewed acceptance where required by law.
